Newsletter, February 2022

Dear *|FNAME|*,

The mission of the Family Science Alliance is to promote the formation and maintenance of good marriages and stable families.

This time we call your attention to an urgent call we recently received from another organisation.

Stop the UN from Blocking Pro-Life Groups

The UN has rejected pro-life groups from presenting at the UN Commission on the Status of Women. Now there is a call to kick pro-life groups out of the UN altogether.

Pro-lifers have blocked a global right to abortion. Pro-lifers have blocked homosexual marriage at the UN. Pro-lifers have blocked a redefinition of the family at the UN.

Now the UN is striking back.

Pro-life groups that applied to present at the vitally important UN Commission on the Status of Women have been rejected.

In a recent meeting on how the work of the Commission will proceed, powerful groups called for pro-life groups to be kicked out of the UN altogether.

You can help C-Fam and the pro-life coalition by signing the petition that we will present to the UN Secretary General and to the head of the Commission on the Status of Women.

Time is running out. The Commission starts in March. This is urgent. Sign the petition and get all your family and friends to sign it!

International Database Scandal Exposed

The morality and innocence of children is under attack in an unlikely way. Curated school and library databases all over the world, that are typically considered to be the “safe” way to search, have been repeatedly found to have explicit pornography, graphic elements of comprehensive sexuality education, BDSM, and live links to pedophilia hookup websites. Multiple news stories and research teams have exposed the global problem.

There is an international movement to expose these databases and hold them accountable for the harm they are causing children. In the United States, Idaho and Utah have already passed legislation requiring database vendors to comply. Additionally, 34 states are actively working on solving the problem. Library associations are opposing these protective actions on the basis of free speech. Large database conglomerates, like EBSCO and Cengage GALE, receive a large amount of funding from George Soros Open Society.

Hungarian family policy measures aimed to protect, support and empower families, mothers, women and children during the COVID-19 pandemic

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has upended the lives of children and their families as health systems buckle, borders close, and schools and businesses shutter all around the world. In Hungary, the government is committed to focus on assisting families through building a predictable, dependable, and secure family-support system.

As for the measures taken, the Government takes over part of the wage costs from firms, supports investments for job creation, provides support for hard-hit economic sectors, and provides a USD 6.1 billion worth of preferential, government-backed loans to companies. The economy protection action plan totaling USD 28 billion (19.6% of GDP) ranks as the 5th largest in Europe. Here are some examples related to the well-being of children, elderly people and families.
